I'm Luca Regne, a Brazilian security researcher with 5+ years of experience split between application and offensive security.
I'm currently working as a Mobile App Security Researcher, focused on Android/iOS and low-level security. I also teach Mobile Exploitation in FIAP's Offensive Security & Red Team Operations postgraduate program.
Outside of work, I hunt bugs through bug bounty programs and play CTFs, solo or with my teammates from the FireShell Security Team. I'm a strong advocate for privacy and open source, so I value projects that share that spirit and, whenever possible, self-host my own services, keeping my homelab as both a hobby and a way to protect my own data.
In what little free time I have left, I'm an amateur musician, an anime marathoner, a casual athlete, and a language learner (PT | EN | ES | JP).

My interest in tech started in childhood, but it was at 14 that I truly began diving deeper into computing, when I took a Computer Networks course during high school. By 18 I had a solid foundation across networking, operating systems, and programming.
I entered security as a technical consultant; grinding CTFs and studying on my own in my spare time, I later moved into offensive security, but the urge to also build things pulled me into application security, where I worked for the last 5+ years in a hybrid role as an offensive and application security engineer.
Since 2024, I've focused on mobile and low-level security, because these have always seemed like some of the hardest and most complex targets to me — and difficulty has always been what drives me (no coincidence I'm a Dark Souls fan who's platinum'd a few Souls-likes along the way). Nowadays I'm working as a full-time security researcher, using my knowledge, creativity and persistence to find new attack vectors and reinvent myself in the niche I enjoy the most.
I'm always dreaming big, replanning the route and reshaping the plans along the way. I hope to make some difference in the world and help people, whether through technology or not.
